With concentrated efforts and strategy, Chhattisgarh has reduced learning losses in children after the Covid-19 pandemic.

As per a survey of more than 27 lakh students, the number of students with learning loss has come down from 51 to 8 percent.

On the basis of the  annual examination, 90.13 percent of students have reached their actual class level. The percentage of     students at minimum and elementary levels has also come down by 4 percent, an official communication said on Saturday.

Due to the closure of schools for more than two years during Covid-19,    children were devoid of     regular schools. But the education department made efforts to ensure education through different modes including their regular assessment.

It was found that 51    percent of students have learning loss. A course was started for their recovery, ultimately leading to their improvement.
