BJP leaders on Saturday lashed out at the Arvind Kejriwal Government and his deputy Manish Sisodia saying the Kejriwal Government has taken “U” turn on controversial excise policy for fear of a CBI probe.
The BJP leaders alleged that the day Kejriwal started visiting Gujarat such tragedy occurred. The BJP leaders reaction came after Sisodia accused the BJP of playing dirty politics over new excise policy and held the BJP Government in Gujarat responsible for hooch tragedy. Addressing a Press conference, Union Minister Meenakshi Lekhi said while the Kejriwal Government has changed the excise policy due to fear of CBI, he will sure have to answer for all illegal deeds. Lekhi alleged the Kejriwal Government has indulged in rampant corruption through the excise policy for which he will have to tell the people.
She said just by withdrawing the excise policy is not going to help Kejriwal wash his hands off this as he will have to give description of his Government’s every illegal acts. In a separate Press conference, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari said Kejriwal feared that his deputy Sisodia would go to jail.
The Leader of the Opposition, Delhi Assembly, Ramvir Singh Bidhuri and State president Adesh Gupta also attacked the Government.
