JPSC announces revised results, 4885 aspirants successful

Mains exams between March 11 and 13

Jharkhand Public Service Commission on Thursday published the revised result of 7th to 10th Combined Civil Services PT Examination that took place on September 19, 2021. It has been told in the revised result publication that 1552 candidates under the unreserved category, 1002 under the scheduled tribe quota, 362 under the scheduled caste category, 994 under the extremely backward class 1 category, 681 under the backward class 2 category and 294 candidates economically weaker section have passed the exams.

A total of 4885 candidates will appear in the Main examination. In the result which has been published this time, only the roll number of the candidates has been given. Category wise result was published in the result released last time, which has now been modified.

The cut off marks have been released along with the result publication. Under this, 248 marks have been fixed for Unreserved, 248 for OBC One, 248 for BC II, 246 for EWS, 242 for SC and 232 for ST candidates.

The commission has said that those candidates, who were declared successful in the results published earlier and the current revised exam has been successful in the past as well and they have applied online for the main exam in the past, need not apply online for the main examination again. On the other hand, the remaining other candidates who have been declared successful in the revised result will be required to fill the online application form for the main examination. Its information will be published soon by the commission.

Along with the revised result of the preliminary examination, the commission has also declared the date of main examination. According to the notification, the main exam will be held from March 11 to 13. For this, examination centers will be made in the Capital City. The exam will be taken in two shifts. The schedule and other information related to the examination will be published later.

Notably, the revised results have been published after some aspirants filed pleas in the Jharkhand High Court and the court started hearing the issue. The JPSC has recently requested permission from the High Court to publish revised results.
