The Human Resource Department of Jharkhand has sanctioned 70 posts for teachers in post graduate departments of Vinoba Bhave University. After a long process the university got the posts.
Vice Chancellor of the VBU Mutual Naryan Dev said that the appointments to these posts would also be done soon. The VC also informed that there are 22 posts already sanctioned for post graduate departments which makes the total number of sanctioned now to 92. He further said that this has been finally achieved by the university after 30 years. He said in the past various officials had also raised their demand for the post sanction but it was met with no success.
Dev remarked that it was becoming increasingly difficult to run the post graduate departments owing to the shortage of teachers. For this, the demand for sanctioning 106 posts was put forward to the Human Resource Department of the Jharkhand government.
He further said that they are trying to regularise the academic session of the different standard. We have achieved 90 percent success in this field.
Regarding sports activities in the university headquarter and different colleges, the VC said that the sports activities were halted for some time, now we are trying to revive the activities.
