Traffic arrangements have been changed in order to keep the traffic of the city organized for Durga Puja, guidelines have been issued related to the traffic plan in the capital Ranchi. The entry of heavy vehicles will be restricted in the city from October 2 to October 5.
The entry of heavy vehicles in the urban area will be prohibited from 8 am to 4 am on the second day. Routes of auto rickshaws, e-rickshaws have also been fixed. There will be temporary parking facilities in many places in the city during the Puja. At the same time, there will be drop gates at 67 places in the city.
Vehicles going from Piska More to Hazaribagh Road will go from Tilta Chowk to Ring Road Law University towards Hazaribagh Road. Vehicles going from Hazaribagh Road to Latehar, Palamu, Garhwa, Simdega, Gumla, Lohardaga will be able to return through this route. Vehicles going to Hazaribagh from Khunti side will ply via Rampur, Namkum, Durga Soren Chowk, Tatisilve, Khelgaon, Buti Mod Marg. Vehicles coming to Jamshedpur, Hazaribagh will also operate on this route. Vehicles coming from Gumla, Lohardaga, Khunti to Jamshedpur will ply on Ring Road Sithio Marg.
For Pooja Pandal located on Station Road from RRB office to both sides of Chutia police station, in Harmu Maidan for Puja Pandal located at Harmu Chowk, Bariatu Housing Puja Pandal in Bariatu Maidan, near CMPDI Pooja Pandal Cambrian School located Kanke Road, Sainik Market and GEL Church Complex for the pandal located on the main road from Doranda-Sujata Chowk, from Firayalal to Goat Bazar Puja Pandal near District School and Balkrishna Mission Chowk, Vehicles going from Dangratoli to Sarjana Chowk, near Mission Chowk and in front of St. John's School, Vehicles going from Lalpur to Kokar Sadhu Maidan and Electricity Office, Ramlakhan Yadav College Campus from Khelgaon to Kokar Puja Pandal, New Market Auto Stand from Kanke Road to Bakri Bazar Pandal, in front of Jaiswal Petrol Pump for those coming from Piska More to Ratu Road Puja Pandal and near Bada Talab for Goat Market Puja Pandal from Harmu Bypass.
