Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Friday said in the last three years efforts have been made to make healthcare more accessible and affordable for all.
He was addressing a virtual event of ‘bhoomi pujan’ of a new district hospital and the Mother-Child hospital in Korea district from here.
The 200-bed district hospital and the 50-bed Mother-Child hospital will be constructed at a cost of Rs 35 crore and Rs 9 crore respectively.
The people of remote areas of the state including residents of Korea will benefit from the state-of-the-art medical facilities, he said.
He said at present 22 sub-health, community health and primary health centres have been approved in Korea. Besides, 33 ventilator, 60 ICU and 539 oxygenated beds have been made available to the district.
