The Hazaribag deputy commissioner Nancy Sahay and Superintendent of
Police Manoj Rattan Chothey along with forces were suddenly raided in
Hazaribag Jai Prakash Naryan Central Jain on Wednesday night. During
the raids both the officers seized the pen drives, mobile parts,
knifes and other electronic goods.

Both the officers told after the raids that we are receiving the
regular information’s that something going wrong in the jail and the
prisoners are using the some equipment’s for sending the information
outside the jail.

We have decided to conduct a sudden raid in central jail. The tem
along with DC and SP, the sadar SDO Vidya Bhusan Kumar and other
administrative officers were reached to the jail and order to open the
door and started the checking drive in the different cells.

We have seized 5 pen drives, mobile parts, knifes, electronic heater,
and some parts of the mobiles and other electronic goods from the
different cells. The seized items indicate that the information of
raids already reached to the prisoners.

Bothe the officers said that the seized 5 pen drives will be examined
by the high security cells. It is raised the questions on the security
of the central jail.

In the raids tem teams with ten magistrates and 150 jawans was
included. The district administration has issued a show cause to the
jail administration that how the pen drives other electronic goods
reached  in the jail.

They said that we have formed a team to through investigate the matter
which came in light during the sudden raids. The administration will
file the FIR on the jail administration in the concern police station
