The Institute of Driving and Traffic Research, Nava Raipur, conducted an orientation-cum-training programme for 70 Chhattisgarh government vehicle drivers which ended on Friday. The training began on April 27.
The drivers were told about safe and secure traffic, upgrading driving abilities and new rules of traffic and road safety. Their health checkup was conducted by the Health Department.
The Maruti-run Institute of Driving and Traffic Research in village Tenduwa in Nava Raipur was dedicated to the public by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.
On completion of the training, drivers were given certificates and a badge ‘Road Safety Ambassador’.
