Ganga Quest, to be organized by the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, has been launched with the objective of increasing public interest and creating awareness about water, environment, biodiversity and conservation of rivers. In Jharkhand the State Mission for Clean Ganga Urban Development and Housing Department will organise the programme in the State.
The Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India has started the registration process for Ganga Quest 2022 under the Namami Gange Project last month. Any intrested person wants to participate in this quest, can visit the link issued by the department, and can register oneself online and play as a participant in the quest online itself. The Final Quest will be played on June 5, the day of World Environment Day, between the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners selected every week.
Anyone can answer questions in this quest by registering themselves at www.clap4ganga.com on their mobile or laptop. Its qualification is that the age of that student or person should be at least 10 years. Any student or person over the age of ten can participate in this quest. Students up to class VIII will participate in the first category. In the second category, students from 9th to 12th will participate. And in the third category, any person can join even if he is a senior citizen.
The registration will start from 22 March 2022 which will run till 22 May 2022, the last date of the online quiz. Online Quiz has started on 7th April 2022, World Health Day. The online quiz will end on May 22. On the occasion of World Environment Day, on June 5 there will be a live quiz and the names of the winners will be published.
After the top performance of Jharkhand in Ganga Quest 2022, this year also more and more people of the state should take part in this quest, regarding this, Secretary, Urban Development and Housing, Shri Vinay Kumar Choubey has earlier directed all the Deputy Commissioners, Municipal Commissioners, Chief Executive Officers and A letter has been written to the Department of Education and Higher Education, urging it to ensure that maximum number of people are involved in this quest. Amit Kumar, Director, State Urban Development Agency has also urged more and more people to join this quest and participate in the quiz and get a lot of new information.
It is worth noting that in the GangaQuest held in 2021, where 11 lakh people from 113 countries had registered, more than a record 1,10,111 people had registered from Jharkhand.. In the final result, live quiz in grade 3 of DPS Bokaro's 12th. Student Rishi Divyakirti became the topper, while in the fourth grade, Praveer of Bokaro was declared the second champion at the international level.
