Ensure security to employees, officials resuming work: Govt

Wednesday, 31 August 2022 | Staff Reporter | RAIPUR

The Chhattisgarh           government on Tuesday told all district Collectors and heads of departments to ensure security for striking employees and officials       willing to return to work.

The employees have been on strike under the banner of the Chhattisgarh Adhikari Karmachari Federation (CAKF) since August 22.

Some employee groups have shown willingness to come back to work.

On Monday, the             government warned of strict disciplinary action against the employees and said that leave must not be provided to them for their absence from service.

Similarly, their salary will be cut and the strike period will be counted as Break in Service.

Meanwhile, the           government on Tuesday assured workers that if they resume work, their salary would be released and the strike period considered as leave.
