Hazaribag Deputy Commissioner Nancy Sahay has instructed land revenue and
land acquisition officers to remove encroachments from government
land in the district.
The DC chaired a meeting of land revenue and land acquisition departments in the seminar hall here on Friday. She reviewed the progress of the department. She has also tried to know difficulties which were faced by the office.
The DC further said that the Right to Service Act is already implemented in
the State. She told all circle officers that both the departments have already
been computerised.
In this condition if the circle offices received any application regarding land receipts and land acquisition, it should be disposed on time. She directed the district level block level officers to reply to the enquiries of High Court and lower courts in time. She said that this is the duty of the related officers to upload the every data for up to date information.
The DC has also clearly instructed officers of land related department that they should clear encroachment of forest land by the land mafia in different remote areas.
She further said that the disputes on the villagers' land must be solved on a priority basis, so that company can work smoothly in the concerned areas.
In the meeting deputy collector of land revenue of Hazaribag and Barhi, land acquisition officers and land settlement officers were present.
