Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, will launch the recruitment drive ‘Rozgar Mela’ for 10 lakh personnel across the country on 22nd October through video conference. Appointment letters will be handed over to 75,000 newly recruited personnel during the ceremony. The Prime Minister will also address these newly appointed personnel on this occasion.
In this episode, an employment fair will be organized at Vaishali auditorium of East Central Railway, Hajipur. The chief guest of this function will be Nityanand Rai, Minister of State for Home, Government of India, whose appointment letters will be given to the new employees selected by the lotus. Along with this an employment fair will also be organized in two more places in Bihar - Patna and Muzaffarpur.
This will be an important step in fulfilling the Prime Minister's continued commitment to provide employment opportunities to the youth and ensure the welfare of the citizens. As per the directions of the Prime Minister, all the Ministries and Departments are working in mission mode towards filling up the existing vacancies of sanctioned posts.
Selected new personnel from across the country will be posted in 38 Ministries/Departments of the Government of India. The newly recruited personnel will join the government at various levels, namely Group-A, Group-B (Gazetted), Group-B (Non-Gazetted) and Group-C. The posts for which the recruitment is being done include Central Armed Forces Personnel, Sub Inspector, Constable, LDC, Steno, PA, Income Tax Inspector, MTS and others.
These recruitments are being done by Ministries and Departments in mission mode either on their own or through recruitment agencies like UPSC, SSC, Railway Recruitment Boards. For speedy recruitment, the selection processes have been simplified and made technically efficient.
