The State Education department will hold a two-day brainstorming session on different aspects and subjects of education in Dehradun on July 1 and 2. In these sessions, the officers from block to State level would take part. The session is being organised on the initiative of Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat and deliberations on new enrolments, dropouts and improvement in quality of education, school complex, basic education, hybrid learning, identification of deprived and differently abled children will be held in it. All district level officers would present a presentation on the education scenario in their respective districts.
The Education minister Rawat said that the Chintan Shivir would be held in India Public School, Rajawala. He said that the inaugural session of the event would be inaugurated by chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami while the governor of Uttarakhand lieutenant general (retd) Gurmit Singh would participate in the second session.
The minister informed that the suggestions coming out of the deliberations would be brought into practice for strengthening the education system of the State. He said that more than two dozen committees have been constituted for successful holding of the session. On the first day discussion of ways of implementing National Education Policy (NEP) would also be held. Discussions would also be held on national achievement surveys, financial management, board results, school monitoring and innovations during the session.
