ECR officers, employees to observe ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign

“Har Ghar Tiranga '' campaign is being run from 13 to 15 August to celebrate the Amrit Mahotsav of freedom and to show respect to the national flag. Under the campaign, 79,650 officers and employees working in East Central Railway Headquarters and offices of Sonpur, Samastipur, Danapur, Dhanbad, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Mandal will pay respect to the Tricolour by unfurling the national flag at ther homes from 13 to 15 August.

 

 

 

On August 15, the whole country will celebrate the 75th anniversary of independence. To make this occasion memorable, a campaign of tricolour hoisting is being run at every house in honour of the sacrifices of the immortal martyrs. In this episode, on the occasion of 75th anniversary of Independence Day, all officers and employees of East Central Railway will unfurl the tricolor at their homes.

 

Apart from flag hoisting, there are also virtual ways to participate in this campaign. The Ministry of Culture, Government of India has launched a website, where any person can pin the flag and also post a selfie with the flag to display their patriotism.

 

 

In the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' scheme, the participation of railway personnel, their families and general public is being ensured by East Central Railway. People are being made aware of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' scheme through announcements at stations. On this occasion by East Central Railway, people are being made aware through digital screens, posters etc.
