Under the chairmanship of General Manager Anupam Sharma, the first meeting of the year 2022 of 'Participation of Railway Employees in Management' (PREM Group) was organized on Thursday. In the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the issues of ensuring safe train operation during the summer season and prevention of arson of railway property. All the heads of departments and union/association officials were present in the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, the GM said that PREM Group has been established with the objective of making the railway organization more effective and active participation of railway personnel in the management. With the participation of railway workers, where the feeling of participation in the management is inculcated among the employees, the work of the railways can be reviewed at the ground level. We are able to prioritize by identifying those areas which usually become routine topics. With the cooperation of unions and associations, we can make railway service and organization effective by creating a suitable working system and using technology continuously.
He said that a thorough review of the maintenance of railway property and its related elements during the summer season will make our decisions more accurate and more effective. We are sensitive to the challenge of fire and always ready to respond to it. Today's critical discussion and the inspiring thoughts generated from it will prove useful for us.
The Principal Heads of Departments, East Central Railway Officers Association President JKP Singh and General Secretary Rajesh Kumar, East Central Railway Promotion Officers Association President BK Das and General Secretary HC Yadav, were present in the meeting. East Central Railway Employees Union President DK Pandey and General Secretary SNP Shrivastava, Working President SSD Mishra, Zonal Secretary of SC/ST Association Pawan Kumar Ram and other office bearers of the Union put their thoughts.
