Don’t share data on phone- Officer to pensioners

Thursday, 13 October 2022 | PNS | Pauri

The Pauri district Chief Treasury officer, Girish Kumar has said that the treasury is not demanding life certificates from the pensioners on phone. “If any pensioner gets any phone call regarding the life certificate, don't share your data,’’ he warned. He said that many complaints are being received that gangs involved in cyber crime are collecting vital information from pensioners, portraying themselves as the employees of the treasury.

“The employees of any treasury never seek any data or ask for the life certificate. The pensioners should not worry about life certificates. The pensioners can update their living certificate proceedings in any treasury of the state,  local post office and any common service centre,’’ he informed.
