Cyber Cell bust a gang engaged in providing loan`

Cyber cell Bhopal busted an inter-state gang who cheated in the name of providing loans under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, gang was arrested by police from Delhi; around 40 people have been cheated of about Rs 5 lakh.

The accused would lure and cheat to get a loan under the Prime Minister's Mudra Yojana.

Various charges like registration fees, processing fees, and other charges were asked from the victims to fraud in the name of loan.

The gang used to operate call center in a flat in Mangolpuri and would use Paytm wallet to withdraw money.

To evade being tracked the chain of transaction was broken by  withdrawal in collusion with the operator of the customer service center kiosks(Grahak Sewa Kendra).

The accused who cheated the complainant Kusum Devi of Rs.30110 in the name of getting loan in name have been arrested.

A complaint of fraud of Rs 3011 was made by the complainant who was cheated in the name of various charges (registration fee, processing fee, other charges) by luring victim to get loan under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana. Police registered case under section 419,420 of the IPC was registered and started an investigation.

 The accused used to operate the call center from the flat in Mangolpuri in Delhi. In which the accused used to contact the needy people and take huge amount in the name of getting a loan under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana. From the data received later, those people used to make calls from fake sims and withdraw money from the complainant in the form of registration fees, processing fees and other charges in the name of getting loans from the Prime Minister's Mudra Yojana.

In the name of getting loans with about 40 people in MP and other states, the accused have cheated up to Rs.5 lakh.

 Mobile phones, fake SIM, bank  accounts used in the case have been confiscated from the accused. During the investigation, it was found that many unemployed youth from Madhya Pradesh and other states have been duped by the accused.

The accused were identified as Jai Prashant Verma, Sumit Sharma, Ravi Singh and Mohit Kashyap.
