On the auspicious occasion of Navratri, 'Shakti Parv' will be held in Bhopal, Ujjain, Salkanpur, Maihar and Guna on October 1.
There has been an eternal tradition of worship of Shakti in Indian culture and Navratri is the festival of offering its reverence to that Adishakti, joining this tradition, the Government of Madhya Pradesh, Culture Department celebrated the art-archana of Mother Bhagwati on October 1 'Shakti Parv'. ' is being organized.
Director, Culture Aditi Kumar Tripathi informed that this programme is organized simultaneously in Bhopal, Ujjain, Salkanpur, Maihar and Guna. 'Shakti Parv' will be organized at all places from 7 pm.
Under Shakti Parv, presentation of Durga Chalisa singing in Madhya Pradesh Tribal Museum, Bhopal will be given by Vijay Sapre and companion, Bhopal and devotional singing will be presented by Pawan Tiwari and partner, Tikamgarh.
Presentation of devotional singing under Shakti Parv at Ramghat, Ujjain will be given by Kapil Yarde and partner, Ujjain and Aadya Shakti - Kathak dance will be presented by Suchitra Harmalkar and partner, Indore.
Presentation of goddess based folk dance in Vindhyavasini Bijasan Devi temple premises located under Shakti Parv, by Krishna Verma and partner, Ujjain, dance drama - 'Shabri' by Rang Triveni Literary and Cultural Organization, Bhopal and Devi Bhajan presentation by Sanjo Baghel and partner, Jabalpur.
