Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Friday asked a committee under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary to examine the demands of the Chhattisgarh State Mitanin Sangh and the Chhattisgarh MGNREGA Employees Federation and submit a report.

He was interacting with a joint delegation of the two organisations after they called on him here. Both delegations submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister.

Baghel promised to set up a panel under the Chief Secretary to look into their demands. The two organisations then promised to end their strike.

Mitanin Sangh President Saroh Sengar and Working President Asha Vaishnav as well as MGNREGA Employees Federation President Chandrashekhar Agnihotri were part of the delegations.

The Mitanins and MGNREGA workers in the state have been on strike in support of their demands.
