Cong in mission to strengthen party in J’khand

In a bid to strengthen the party’s organisation in the State, Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee's (JPCC) newly appointed In-Charge, Avinash Pandey and Co-In-Charge, Umang Singhar, on Sunday held a his first meetings throughout the day with the party’s district heads, MLAs, MPs, former MPs, Ministers in the State Government.

Both the leaders also held meetings with the party’s district presidents, various front organizations, conveners, the party’s head public of awareness campaign, membership campaign and the candidate of recently held the assembly election-19.

In the meetings, Congress Legislature Party leader Alamgir Alam, Deputy Leader Pradeep Yadav, Ministers in the State Government, Dr Rameshwar Oraon, Banna Gupta, Badal were also present.

In the meeting, Pandey encouraged the Congressmen from the district and they said that due to the hard work and dedication of all of you, a coalition Government has been formed in the State, which is doing good work even during the period of the pandemic. He clearly said that the respect of the workers is the priority of the party leadership but to get respect, it is necessary to have a sense of duty.

Talking about giving stress to the special membership drive in the district, the party’s State In Charge said that there is public anger in the hearts of the spontaneous people in the Country against the anti-people policies of the Centre. “Now there is a need to give voice to that public anger, in this, all the workers, leaders should make efforts so that more and more people can be connected with the ideology and policies of the Congress. The formation of 20-point committees has started after a long time with a view to ensure the monitoring and participation of the workers in the development of the State. Very soon the formation of other committees will also start. Actively involvement in the party programs is very necessary,” he added.

Pandey said that the high command believes that in Jharkhand, the Congress party and ideology are ingrained in the hearts of the people. “That's why there is limitless potential here, sincere effort is needed. Very soon, with a view to strengthen the alliance, discussions will be held with the allies regarding the determination of the Common Minimum Program and the Coordination Committee,” he added.

On this occasion Singhar said that the Congress party is the only party where internal democracy is alive. “We listen to all our workers. Today's brainstorming is proof of that. We all need to work together in a disciplined manner as a family for the strength of the organization. Jharkhand has given a lot of love and respect to the party and me personally, so I, along with the in-charge sir, assure all of you that there will be no compromise with the respect of the workers,” he added.
