On his three day visit to the State Congress, State In-Charge Avinash Pandey held a one-to-one meeting with all the MLAs on Thursday to know who and why the MLAs voted in favor of NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu in the presidential election.
In the meeting, Pandey asked the question to the MLAs under what circumstances the cross-voting was done. After the meeting, he has told the media that he has sought a report from the State leadership regarding cross voting. That report will be submitted to the party National President, Sonia Gandhi.
When the in-charge was asked whether any action would also be taken against such MLAs, he said, leave this work to the National President. Earlier, after the one-to-one meeting of he with the MLAs, the leader of the legislature party, Alamgir Alam, had told the media that a report had been sought from him regarding cross-voting, which he would submit to the in-charge. He also said that this report will not be made in the media, but it will be placed in the party forum.
Meanwhile the headquarters of the Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee in the State Capital, an interview program was conducted for the post of District President directed by the All India Congress Committee (AICC) Election Authority, in which Jharkhand Pradesh Congress In-Charge, Avinash Pandey, State Election Officer, Prakash Joshi, Election Officer, Jitendra Kasana Bhavesh, the party’s Minister in the State Government and In Charge of the concerned district, namely Alamgir Alam, Convener, Badal Patralekh were also present during the interview.
On this occasion, Pandey said that JPCC launched the best membership campaign after the formation of the State in this session. A total of eight lakh seventy seven thousand seven hundred and fourteen members were made in the state, which is a record in itself.
For this session, the election process was conducted in a very transparent manner. Efforts have been made to discuss in detail at every level from the block to the district organization and make it unanimous. The process is underway.
