Chief Minister Hemant Soren has said that when the villages will be strong, the people of the villages will be strong, only then will this State move on the path of development. The work is being done by the government to take the welfare schemes of the government to the people who are looking for the path of development standing on the last rung by making an action plan. He was distributing appointment letters, laying the foundation stones of schemes, inaugurating and distributing assets in Damruhat, Sunderpahari, Godda on Wednesday.
On this occasion, the CM launched the Suposhit Godda scheme run by the government by releasing a booklet related to the programme. Under this scheme, various programs will be run for the children of Godda district to get rid of malnutrition.
The CM said that under the Phoolo-Jhan Ashirwad Yojana, small businesses such as tea shops, hotels etc are being opened by helping those women, who are making their living by selling liquor, they are getting freedom from such works. And by this they are getting a life of honour.
Soren said that this year the State Government has done the work of purchasing paddy in large quantity this time. The government is working to open rice mills in the State to expedite the process of purchasing and re-distributing paddy. The government is providing land at the lowest rate for setting up a rice mill. Along with this, full assistance is also being provided by the government for this.
On this occasion, the CM inaugurated 79 schemes worth Rs. 18001.17 lakh and laid the foundation stone of 10 important schemes costing Rs. 12598.28 lakh. In the programme, the CM distributed appointment letters related to various departments to 170 people. Under other schemes including Social Security Pension Scheme, Sona Sobran Yojana, Ration Card Distribution, Chief Minister Kanyadan, Chief Minister Employment Generation, Phulo-Jhanon Ashirwad Yojana, assets worth Rs 1767.10 lakh were also distributed among 2573 beneficiaries.
In the program, Tanu Kumari of Godda, who has brought laurels to the Santhal Pargana in the entire state by securing 97 per cent in the board exams, was felicitated by the Chief Minister. Along with this, the CM said that the children who stood first in the State would be given prize money of three lakh rupees, second place two lakh and third place one lakh.
MP Rajmahal Vijay Kumar Hansda, MLA Podaihat Pradeep Yadav, district administration officials and beneficiaries were present in the programme.
