Delhi on Sunday reported 3,674 daily cases of Covid -19 while the tests positivity rate recorded 6.37 percent, 4.5 per cent less than Saturday’s positivity rate.
According to the Delhi state health bulletin, 30 people also succumbed to the infection in the preceding 24 hours while 6954 patients also recovered, and a total 57,686 tests conducted.
Whereas on Sunday, cases were registered below 4,000 while on Saturday, Delhi logged 4,483 cases, a jump of 10.85 percent. On Friday, the national capital saw 4,044 cases of coronavirus, as per the state health bulletin.
Pivotally, the daily number of Covid-19 cases in Delhi has reduced significantly in the last one week from 28,867 registered on January 13, while now it is fluctuating near to 3,000 to 4000. It is important to mention here that containment zones are significantly higher – 38,853, as per Sunday’s bulletin. On Saturday, the number of containment zones were – 39,869.
According to authorities, a containment zone has been created to limit the spread of infections.
