The death anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi was observed on 30 January. On the occasion, activists of political parties CPI and CPIM, including B&K GM MK Rao, paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi by garlanding his statue at Kargali Gate. Local people also paid tribute to Mahatma.
On this occasion, the GM said that Gandhiji's thoughts will live on forever. His thoughts will continue to inspire the world to follow the path of truth and non-violence. The whole country calls Mahatma Gandhi the Father of the Nation as Bapu. Gandhiji freed the country from the British by following the path of truth and non-violence. He was a priest of non-violence. Countymen need to take inspiration from him.

Lal Yadav, Manoj Paswan, Sudhir Kishan alias Bhola, Vinod Mahto, Dinesh Sharma, Deepak Kumar, Santosh Mahto, Kamlesh Mahto, Dhaneshwar Mahato were included.
