It played ‘Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram’ as well as ‘Vaishnav Jan Te’ and patriotic songs including ‘Aye Watan’, ‘Sare Jahan Se Achha’ and ‘Dil Diya Hai Jaan Bhi Denge Ae Watan Tere Lie’.

The state anthem ‘Arpa Pairi Ke Dhar’ was also played at the beginning.

The Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee also organized a programme at its headquarters Rajiv Bhawan where floral tributes were paid to the Mahatma’s portrait and a two-minute silence was held.
