‘PUT MADHUBABU PHOTOS IN GOVT OFFICES’  (Pix)

Bhubaneswar: The Utkal Sammilani Mancheswar Industrial Estate branch on Thursday paid rich tributes to Utkalgaurav Madhusudan Das on his birth anniversary. Members garlanded his statue and recalled his contributions for formation of a separate Odisha State. Branch president advocate Dillip Dashsharma demanded that the State Government issue an order to put Madhubabu’s photo in all the State Government offices. All the participants supported the demand and said it would be a great tribute to Madhubabu. Among others who spoke were vice-presidents Dr Surendra  Mishra and Sheetal Chandra Mohanty and members Bhrugu Buxipatra, Prassana Rath and Basanti Tripathy.

 

CSPUR DAVians PAY TRIBUTES TO MADHUBABU  (Pix)

Bhubaneswar: DAVians of Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar offered floral tributes to Utkalguurav Madhusudan Das on his 174th birth anniversary on Thursday. A series of activities were conducted online among the students to spread awareness about the selfless sacrifice and matchless dedication of Madhubabu, a worthy son of Odisha.

 

SWABHIMAN DIVAS OBSERVED AT DAV K NAGAR  (Pix)

Bhubaneswar: The DAV Public School, Kalinga Nagar here observed the Swabhiman Divas to commemorate the birth anniversary of Utkalgaurab Madhusudan Das on Thursday. Principal Bipin Kumar Sahoo and teachers offered floral tribute to the great soul. The Principal said Madhubabu’s ethics and principles would inspire generations. The campus reverberated with a chorus sung by teachers eulogising the illustrious son of Odisha.

 

2 LIVER TRANSPLANT EXPERTS JOIN KIMS  (Pix)

Bhubaneswar: Two eminent liver transplant experts, Dr Ashim Das and Dr Ashok Kumar Choudhury, have joined as visiting professors at the Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) here. Dr Das, an alumnus of Kolkata University, has undergone MD in Pathology from PGIMER Chandigarh. Dr Choudhury is an MD in Medicine.

 

AIPH VARSITY BAGS OUTSTANDING UNIVERSITY AWARD  (Pix)

Bhubaneswar: The AIPH University Bhubaneswar bagged the Outstanding University Award 2022. The award was presented by the World Education Congress here on Wednesday. The AIPH University has become a premier destination for education and research in the field of public health in the eastern part of India. AIPH University President Dr Pinaki Panigrahi is a renowned US-based public health expert and currently a professor at the Georgetown University, Washington. 

 

DIALYSIS CENTRE OPENED AT BARBIL  (Pix)

Champua: Champua MLA Meenakshi Mahanta on Wednesday inaugurated a dialysis centre at the Barbil PHC in the presence of Keonjhar Collector Ashish Thakre, Champua Sub-Collector Pratap Pritimaya, CDMO Sujata Rani Mishra and Barbil Municipality Chairman Laxman Mahanta and EO Abhishek Panda. The building of the dialysis centre has been built at a cost of Rs 50. 49 lakh being funded by the DMF and is equipped with five dialysis machines. The centre will provide service for six days a week except Sunday being run on PP mode.
