In a one-day blood donation camp organised by Aam Mahila Sangharsh Samiti, eminent social worker and BJP leader Amarpreet Singh Kale donated blood and encouraged the committee members and blood donors to come forward for the noble.
Appreciating the committee for noble work, Kale said that the committee is doing good work, due to which there is a misconception among the people that they will become weak by donating blood, these misconceptions will be broken. It is good that women are coming forward in this field. One should always be ready to donate blood to save the lives of critical patients.
A total of 32 units of blood were collected by the committee while the registration was 58. The committee said that due to some reasons the blood of many women donors present could not be taken. The committee has resolved to do better next time.
Committee chairman Pallavi, vice president Julie Paul, treasurer Annapurna, secretary Surendra Kaur, Kristen Lake, Pushpa, Khushboo Bagati, Manni Kumari, Uma Devi, Amarjeet, Gayatri, Lata Devi, Aarti Kumari, Pooja, Mary, Sanju Kumari, Nirmala Singh, Crystals and others contributed significantly.
