Ruling party in the State Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, on Friday, attacked Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and said that BJP will bite the dust in the upcoming Lok Sabha poll which is scheduled in the year 2024.
Addressing a press meet at the party headquarter in the State Capital, JMM General Secretary and Spokesperson, Supriyo Bhattacharya said that the State Government led by Chief Minister, Hemant Soren completed its three years yesterday and BJP Senior Leader and Union Home Minister, Amit Shah to visit Chaibasa on January 7 to get ground report of the area. BJP has not a single public representative from the entire Kolha Division so Shah is coming to strengthen his party base in the area but as much effort he can make he will fail badly because the people of the State are determined this time,” he added.
Bhattacharya further said that the Union Home Minister should inform every Division of the State he should take the ground report of the State so that he will not be in a situation of any confusion. He said that in the last Lok Sabha poll in 2019 BJP won 12 seats out of total 14 seats in the State but what work has been done by the Central Government in the last three years has been clear for everyone. The mother of all industries, Heavy Equipment Corporation is breathing its last even though the workers are not getting salaries for months and the Central Government is not paying any attention to save it.
The party General Secretary also said that BJP State Chief, Dipak Prakash held a press meet yesterday and he was very confused. He said that Prakash had not said why during previous Raghubar Das Government not held any JPSC exams, why not it recruited District Sports Officers, why not it recruited Agriculture Officers which had been vacant since last 31 years, why State’s policemen were not getting benefit of CPL and other burning issues.
Bhattacharya said that the present State Government has not held any road show but it has made a road map for the development of the State which is infuriating BJP. “The Chief Minister had said that when any Dalit, Tribal and Minority will run Government in the State the people in large numbers will come forward to challenge. During the entire COVID period a situation of illusion was created to hamper development work and people could not meet their needs,” he added.
