BJP Govt strongly strikes at 3Cs – Corruption, Crime, Caste politics: Hry CM Khattar

Taking charge of the party’s election campaign in the neighbouring poll-bound hill state, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday reached Doon assembly constituency to campaign for the BJP’s sitting MLA and party candidate Paramjeet Singh Pammi.

Khattar, in a public meeting organized in Mandhala village of Baddi, said that the BJP Government strongly strikes at 3Cs — corruption, crime, and caste politics.

“During the Congress’ tenure, corruption had grown to its core. Rajiv Gandhi once said that if we send one rupee from the Centre, only 15 paisa reaches. But as soon as the Government was formed under the leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, zero tolerance policy was adopted to curb corruption across the country. Additionally, the BJP-led State Administrations worked to combat corruption,” he said.

Khattar said that if any ruling party Minister or MLA, government employee, citizen, or even his any family member is found to be implicated in any wrongdoing, he should be arrested.

At the same time, he said that all the political parties and the society have to come together to end caste-based politics, “only then a new reform can be brought in the society”.

Haryana Chief Minister said that during the tenure of the BJP Government, Himachal Pradesh has witnessed unprecedented stories of development. “Highways are being built in the state. Government has taken various initiatives to boost tourism. A new dimension of development has been established by making the Atal Tunnel,” he said while appealing to the citizens to cooperate in the formation of a “double engine government” in Himachal like the previous time and ensure the victory of BJP candidate Paramjeet Singh Pammi by a huge margin in the elections to be held on November 12.

Khattar added that Himachal and Haryana share a strong bond. “Continuous development works are being done between the two states. Basaula bypass is being built on Baddi-Pinjore road, which will soon be dedicated to the public and heavy traffic will be eliminated with its construction. A CHC has been established in Nanakpur, which also helps the inhabitants of Mandhala. In Shahpur, a ghat has been constructed for Chhath Puja. In addition, Mandhala-Barotiwala road construction will start after the election code of conduct. MoUs have also been signed between Haryana and Himachal on many other projects,” he added.
