Bhopal station gets 90 pc marks in amenities

The Passenger Service Committee of Railway Board has given 90 out of 100 numbers to Bhopal railway station. Chairman PK Krishnadas inspected Bhopal station along with the members of the committee shared while interacting with media persons on Tuesday afternoon

Krishnadas seemed satisfied with the cleanliness of the station. Also inspected Rani Kamalapati station. He said that like Ranikamala Pati railway station, work is going on at Bhopal station too.

The work of the first phase will be completed by the end of June. After this, the entire renovation work of Bhopal station will be completed. Also interacted with passengers. About 90 percent of the passengers rated the passenger convenience provided by the Railways as good. Working on the shortcomings that remain. A report has been sent to the Railway Board.

Along with this, the Railways has sent a suggestion to the Railway Board regarding the concession to the senior citizens. It states that due to Corona, the concession given to senior citizens is closed. It should start again. Now instead of concession, it should be given to them in the form of subsidy directly in the account. This will prevent any kind of fraud.

Krishnadas said that there are some shortcomings discussed with DRM Bhopal. In this, some feedback has been given by passengers like AC failure in the train in summer, general ticket. We are working on them. Soon the railways will do away with this. By the end of June, the railways will be fully back on track. All trains will be on track. As before, full bed rolls will be available in general tickets and trains.

Passenger service committee will inspect other railway stations of Madhya Pradesh. After Bhopal, now the team will also go to Jabalpur division. There will be a three-day visit.
