Extending passenger train services, South East Central Railway (SECR) is expanding the 08815 Raipur-Keoti Diesel Electric Multiple Unit (DEMU) Special and 08818 Keoti-Durg DEMU Passenger Special train service till Antagarh from August 13.
Due to extension of the services, there will be minor changes in the time-table of the trains, an official communication stated on Wednesday.
The timing will also affect the 08824/07825 Durg-Dalli Rajhara-Durg DEMU Passenger Special train from August 13.
A railway line is being laid from Dalli-Rajhara to Jagdalpur (309.60 km), which will connect Bastar region with Raipur also.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 14, 2018 flagged the DEMU train connecting Raipur with Bhanupratappur (150 km). Later, it was extended to Keoti. It will now be linked with Antagarh. Work to connect Jagdalpur is in progress.
