In major action against hoarders 1,000 bags of fertilisers were found in a godown located in the Berasia area and after the fertilisers were seized godown was sealed in the action.
On Tuesday a large number of farmers had reached here to get fertilizers, but they were told that there is no fertilizer. After this SDM Aditya Jain checked the godown and found that it had 1000 bags of fertilisers.
Complaints were being received for several days regarding fertilizers in Berasia area. Since, at this time farmers need fertilizers for Rabi crops. Due to which gathering outside the fertilizer shop or godowns from morning till late night is witnessed.
Despite this, they are not provided with fertilisers, due to this, the district administration was also alerted and checking was started. As soon as the complaint was received on Tuesday, SDM Jain reached the godown of Sai Traders and inspected it. During this, 1000 bags of fertilisers were found kept in the godown.
SDM Jain told that all the fertilizer distributors were informed about the fertilizer distribution rules in the morning itself regarding the problem of fertilizers of the farmers.
Despite this, the farmers were told about the non-availability of fertilizers in the godown of Sai Traders and when he inspected the godown, 1000 bags of fertilisers were found in the godown. That is why the godown has been sealed after confiscating fertilisers. Action is being taken against the operators as per rules.
There are long queues of farmers daily outside the Government fertilizer sales center at Berasia mandi. Farmers reach here early in the morning and keep waiting till evening and when fertilizers are not available then they have to come the next day.
Farmers claimed that they are getting worried about fertilizers for many days. Despite this, they are not getting two bags of manure.
