On the initiative of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the results of the MoU signed between the Labor Planning, Training and Skill Development Department and HCL are visible within just four months.
In the first phase, 220 youths of the State are giving flight to their dreams in the IT sector by joining the Government's employment program.
The youth of the State are getting covered by the scheme to provide training and employment through placement linked skill training programmes. To a large extent, this skill training program of the Government is proving to be effective in ending the situation of euphoria arising among the youth after intermediate.
The youth of Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Dhanbad are joining this program of skill training and are busy building their future. Soon the youth of Dumka and Palamu will also get this opportunity.
For selection in the skill training program of the government, in the year 2021-22, it is mandatory to pass 12th in science faculty with maths and business maths in commerce faculty.
After being selected by HCL, there is a provision to conduct a six months internship in HCL's center after imparting training through virtual medium for six months. During the internship itself, students are paid Rs 10,000 per month by HCL.
After the completion of internship, HCL has agreed with the government to employ the students.
With the help of HCL with placement, students can pursue higher education from BITS Pilani or Amity University or Shastra University, Tamil Nadu. This degree is through job as well as work integrated learning programme.
Children from every district of the State can avail skill training programme.
