Under the Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana (RKVY) by East Central Railway, industry-based training was given to boys and girls in electronics and instrumentation trade for making them skilled and capable for employment in the Signal and Telecom Training Center of Danapur Division as the second batch from 17.01.2022 to 07.02.2022. During this training, the youth were given training in diode, transistor, IC, power supply, soldering, multimeter, use and repair of transformer etc.
On Monday after the end of the training period, 16 qualified and qualified trainees were given certificates by R. L. Yadav, Chief Signal Engineer, ECR in the premises of Signal and Telecommunication Training Center. On this occasion, Chief Signal Engineer, ECR and Principal, Signal and Telecommunication Training Center, Danapur wished all the trainees for bright future. Along with this, certificates have been distributed to a total of 27 youth and girls in total two batches under this scheme.
It may be noted that "Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana" was launched in Indian Railways on 17.09.2021 by Minister of Railways, Communications & Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India for skill development among youth. Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana is an integral part of the Skill India Mission adopted by the Indian Railways under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana as part of the 75th year of the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence.
The basic objective of this initiative is to provide training to the youth to bring about qualitative improvement in various trades. This skill will improve and upgrade the employability of the youth. Under Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana, 100 hours of training is being imparted in 18 working days in 75 training centers of 17 zones and 07 production units of Indian Railways. Through these 75 training centers, a target has been set to provide technical training to 50 thousand youth by the year 2024. Youth in the age group of 18 to 35 who have passed class 10th can get free training on the basis of merit. This scheme will improve the employability of the youth and upgrade the skills of the self-employed youth.
