On the occasion of International Workers' Day, President of East Central Railway Women's Welfare Organization Bharti Sharma honoured 145 railway workers of five divisions, construction organization and headquarters in the 'Labour Day Award Ceremony-2022' organized at Vaishali Rail Auditorium, Hajipur on Tuesday. .
Addressing the awardees on this occasion, the President of the organization, Bharti Sharma said that the East Central Railway Women's Welfare Organization honours the safety category employees, who have made commendable contribution in railway operation. With the commendable contribution of such dedicated staff, Indian Railways takes passengers to their destination safely and securely. Sharma said that the railway employees have performed excellently even in difficult circumstances. Gifts and citations were given to all the awardees. Today, 20 women railway workers were also included in the awardees.
