'Adopting upcoming technology would help save print media'

Adopting upcoming technologies and  focus on true news items that could attract  the young generation would help save print media in future,according to Harivansh , vice chairman of Rajya Sabha here today .

He was addressing a seminar organized by Dhanbad Press Club in cooperation with the IIT- ISM and BBMKU  at IIT premises here today on past, present and future of journalism.

The challenge is of "credabity" that has been raised by the new generation due to thousands of informations flashed on social  and digitalmedia platforms that the young generation  is receiving and even believing them  even thought all are not true.

The new technogy has captured the minds of the new generation . The print media has to fight that mindset with same technology added with credibility to change the mindset  and habits, said Harivansh.

One however would have to return to slow thinking process, he added.

He quotes several personifies like Allen Mask ,Mahatma  Gandhi besides several international journlist .

He also have replies to queries  of journlist during the interactive session.

IIT director Prof Rajeev Shekher , Dhanbad MP PN Singh, prof M Pandey of BBMKU and prof Rajni Singh  of IIT also spoke on this occasion . BJP leaders Raj Sinha ,Ramesh Rahi ,CS Agarwal besides others too were present
