Jat with BJP, alliance won't make any difference: Dev

Monday, 31 January 2022 | PNS | Aligarh/ Hathras

BJP State president Swatantra Dev Singh came to Aligarh and in his brief programme, paid homage by garlanding the statue of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi at Swachchta Chowk on Aligarh Road. During this, two minutes silence was observed and tribute was paid. He said that the country was not built by political parties, but by great men like Rishi-Muni and Gandhiji.

In a conversation with media on India's Swachh Bharat Mission and on the alliance of SP-RLD, he said that the Jat community is with the BJP in the past and is still with the BJP. The alliance won't make any difference. On the launch of the development works during the tenure of the Samajwadi Party Government, it was said that earlier people did not get electricity, people used to complete their sleep by sitting in trains and buses. There was no current in the electric wires coming to the houses, but the electricity bill definitely used to come. This bill used to create current among the people.

He said that Akhilesh Yadav remembers Jinnah on the birth anniversary of Sardar Patel. What could be a greater misfortune than this? He said that Akhilesh Yadav wants to replace Patel's idol and get Jinnah's statue installed. He wants to establish Atiq and Mukhtar again in the state, but BJP will never allow his plan to be fulfilled.

He further said that the BJP has ended the SP rule by taking action against the goondaraj mafia. The central and state governments have done good to the poor through public welfare schemes. They have given relief by giving ration, housing, gas connection. BJP is winning more than 300 seats in the state. The remaining works will be completed after the formation of the government in 2022. On this occasion, BJP's district in-charge Devendra Singh, candidate from Hathras reserved seat Anjula Mahour, district president Gaurav Arya, chairman Ashish Sharma, city president Shrad Maheshwari and other workers were present.

On the other hand BJP national president JP Nadda came to Hathras and contacted door to door for campaigning in the assembly elections. Apart from this, he interacted with party workers and enlightened people of the city. There was no big event like road show and rally in public due to covid guidelines. After landing here, he started traveling in the city and started door to door contact. He met people by visiting shopkeepers and houses in Pathar Bazar, Chavad Gate, Qila Gate, Nayaganj and other areas.  During this, the BJP President attacked SP President Akhilesh Yadav and counted the achievements of BJP rule.
