‘Actors responsible for being typecast’

Kirti Kulhari feels if an actor doesn’t want to be stereotyped in similar roles, then he or she should be ready to refuse projects.

“You are as responsible for being typecast as the person who is typecasting you. You have to make choices that are different and learn to say no. It is not easy to say no but if you don't, you cannot complain. If you stand up for the roles you want to do, you will break out of that mould eventually,” she said.

‘We are expected to look and dress a certain way and I feel it is an added pressure. There is one exception, which is Arijit Singh. You will never see him wearing loud makeup and showy clothes, he looks just normal and that's his style. Every singer has their style. Styling is very important but I feel music is even more important.’

Eddie Murphy got lucky with kids

Actor Eddie Murphy says he is very proud of his children and that none of them turned out to be ‘the bad one'.

Eddie has five sons and five daughters, aged two to 31, from five relationships, and shares a good bond with all of them.

“I am going to be 60 in April and I have all these babies, I love fatherhood. That is the centre of everything. The whole idea of being out there and doing three movies a year, that is over. I have got all these babies,” he said.
