The French marigold (red) is very pretty looking. The red flowers when they bloom bright up any space where you put them. While marigold can grow in full sun light to partial-shade, the plant prefers sunny areas. They grow best in moist, well-drained and fertile soil.
In order to ensure that new flowers keep coming up, remove the wilted flowers regularly. Water the marigold only when there is too much heat regularly. Otherwise only when the soil is dry.
On the whole, the French marigolds require very little care, especially when they are well-planted.
