The Yogada Satsang Society of India (YSS) will organise online mass meditation from Sunday. Apart from English, this meditation will also be conducted in languages like Hindi, Bangla, Odia, Gujarati, Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Marathi.
Due to the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic, the Yogada Ashram and meditation centers were closed and online mass meditation and prayers have been arranged for the convenience of the followers. The online collective meditation is being conducted in English by the Yogada Satsang since March 2020. In view of the increasing popularity of these meditation sessions and the ever-increasing number of devotees and seekers participating in them, special arrangements for online collective meditation in Indian languages are being made in the operation of Yogada Ashram. President of YSS, Swami Chidanand Giri will inaugurate it on Sunday morning at 7.30 am.
Special programs will also be organized in online format. As stated by YSS founder, Paramahamsa Yogananda and all yoga practitioners know, every member participating in group meditation has a very fast pace of self-realization. By meditating in a group, invisible positive waves of each member produce magnetic properties. For this reason, these online meditation sessions have a special significance in today's world bereaved by the Covid-19 epidemic, and the seekers who have adopted it understand it well.
