In a major reshuffle in bureaucracy, the State Government on Friday appointed IAS officer R Vineel Krishna as the Special Secretary to Chief Minister.
Krishna is currently serving as the Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) MD and OSD in the Chief Minister’s Office (Covid Management). With his fresh appointment, he would also remain in additional charge of Special Secretary to Government, Sports and Youth Services Department.Puri Collector Balwant Singh was posted as the OMC MD. In his place, Kendrapada Collector Samarth Verma was appointed as Puri Collector. Amrit Ruturaj, PD, Rayagada DRDA, was appointed as Kendrapada Collector.
Md Sadique Alam, ED of CMGI, Bhubaneswar, is to remain in additional charge of Director, Industries. Bhubaneswar Special ADM Parul Patawari, who is in-charge of Covid management with additional charge of Additional Commissioner in BMC, was appointed as the Deputy Secretary, Works Department.Vishal Singh, Special ADM, Khordha, was appointed as the PD, DRDA, Jajpur.Besides, Rayagada Collector Pramod Kumar Behera (OAS), was appointed as the Additional Secretary in Revenue & Disaster Management Department. In his place, Jagatsinghpur Collector Saroj Kumar Mishra was posted as Rayagada Collector.
