Punjab begins process to fill 2,280 posts through PSSSB

Wednesday, 31 March 2021 | PNS | Chandigarh

Punjab Government, in a major recruitment drive, has initiated the process to fill 2,280 posts in various departments through Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB).

“The Board has given in-principle approval to the recruitment drive under the Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh’s flagship ‘Ghar-Ghar Rozgaar’ employment generation programme, and the advertisements to this effect would be issued shortly,” said the state Chief Secretary Vini Mahajan on Tuesday.

The Chief Secretary said that the PSSSB would ensure a fair and transparent recruitment drive, and the Board would carry out videography, install jammers and biometric technology to complete the entire recruitment process smoothly to ensure merit-based selections, in line with the mandate given by the Chief Minister.
