Amidst report of death of at least 10 advocates who were associated with Dhanbad Bar Association due to coronavirus, now the news of death of public prosecutor(PP) BD Pandey has shocked both the bar and bench here.
Pandey was associated with very important and high profiled Neeraj Singh murder case now under trial in sessions court here since beginning .
In this case former Jharia MLA Sanjeev Singh is one of the accused. Neeraj happens to be his cousin brother and husband of sitting Jharia MLA Poornima Singh.
Pandey breathed his last at SNMMMCH on late Wednesday night where was undergoing treatment for corona since last one week , according to his associates .
Senior advocate Abhay Bhatta said ,now another PP would have to the up case in absence of Pandey who happened to be a very fine person.
