People to be vaccinated in their cars in Bhopal

Madhya Pradesh state Tourism Development Corporation along with health department Madhya Pradesh and UNICEF is going to start a vaccination drive in drive in cinema situated in the premises of Hotel Lake View at Shyamla Hills Bhopal.

Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh state Tourism Development Corporation S Viswanathan said that probably  this is going to be a first of its kind experiment in the country in which people will drive in their own cars from their home and get vaccinated inside the cars. He expressed his hope that it will be and inspiring it will be an inspiration for getting vaccinated and women and old people will find it a hassle-free experience and it will also ensure maximum social distancing he said that from May 01, whoever wants to get vaccinated can register on cowin and aarogya Setu app and and Prit.

After the registration on the set website, the persons are requested to bring their screenshot or print out along with their photo ID and reach the drive in cinema on the decided date and time. Those persons who do not have online registration, may bring their photo identity and get themselves vaccinated .It may be noted that  rules set by the local administration   for seating capacity of cars will be adhered to in the drive- in vaccination program along with the number of persons allowed in one car.

Viswanathan further expressed his hope that this driving vaccination will save people  from going to hospital and vaccination centre and it will give them the facility of sitting in their own cars and getting vaccinated. During the vaccination drive staff from the health department will be present.
