MLA Purna Chandra Swain appeared in the offline matriculation examination on Friday. The legislator from the Surada Assembly constituency in Ganjam district attended the examination at the Surada Girls’ High School.
The offline matric examination kicked off on Friday for the students who are dissatisfied over the marks awarded to them by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, after the cancellation of the annual High School Certificate examination due to the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic. A total of 15,136 students are appearing in the exam at 504 examination centres across State in adherence to the Covid-19 guidelines.
