Chhattisgarh Police have seized 101.38 kg of cannabis valued at Rs 10.13 lakhs and arrested a man in Korba district who was transporting it from Janjgir-Champa to Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district. Korba Superintendent of Police Bhojram Patel told The Pioneer on Sunday over telephone that Kanhaiyalal Yadav (43) hails from Korba district.
Police intercepted a Scorpio driven by him in Raigarh city. The vehicle and a mobile phone were seized from him, the officer said.
