Piplani police has seized a haul of liquor worth over Rs 11 lakhs in concealed in a chamber in a truck container at Ayodhya bypass and arrested two persons; action was taken during strict vigil for independence day.Acting on a tip off, regarding a truck carrying liquor was tracked at Ayodhya bypass, police acted swiftly and tracked truck and nabbed two persons carrying the liquor illegally in the truck.The nabbed were identified as Brijesh Yadav and Komal Pal of Uttar Pradesh. After receiving information regarding truck bearing registration number DL1GC4242 police team was alerted and tracked truck.
During the investigation police found that a secret chamber was built below cabin which was having 150 bottles of liquor of different brands which were worth over Rs 11 lakh.
