In order to provide relief and assistance to the people at the time of Corona infection, the State Level Coordination Committee, formed on the instructions of the All India Congress Committee, met at residence of State Congress president Dr. Rameshwar Oraon here on Thursday. In the meeting the relief and assistance works being run by the State and district level control room were discussed.
Speaking to journalists on the occasion, Dr Oraon said that the State government has implemented several restrictions for more than 14 days to break the chain of coronavirus infection. After 14 days, the JPCC will work as per the directive of High Command. He said that the Chief Minister and the Health Minister are trying to provide Covid wards, oxygen supported beds and other medical facilities in all the districts themselves. He himself had a meeting with the district administration in Khunti districts and directed to increase health facilities. He said that emphasis has been laid on increasing beds and medical facilities at the Khunti, Lohardaga and Ramgarh district headquarters near the Capital Ranchi, and continuous efforts are being made in this direction.
Condoling the death of leaders of various political parties due to the continuous corona infection, Dr. Oraon said that irrespective of the social worker associated with any political party, his death has caused irreparable damage to the State. The sad news of the death of young leader Amitabh Ranjan was received, which has been talked about a week ago, his death has shaken. He said that the Congress party does not just do electoral politics, but party workers work among the people in their happiness and sorrow. On the instructions of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, party workers everywhere, are cooperating in providing medicines, injections, beds and other medical facilities to the Corona-infected patients.
On the black marketing of injections and medicines, Dr. Rameshwar Oraon said that the Central government has more powers to curb the black marketing of Remdesivir, the Central government should ensure that all the needy states can get adequate number of injections and medicines.
Committee convenor Alok Kumar Dubey, State Congress Committee Executive president Keshav Mahato Kamlesh, Dr. Rajesh Gupta Chhotu, Amulya Neeraj Khalkho, Surendra Singh and Satish Paul Munjali were present in the meeting.
