The Jharkhand government is gearing up for a sweeping fill-up of vacancies in the government departments as part of its electoral plank of completing recruitment in government departments within two years of governance.
The beginning has been made as Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has invited applications for filling up 956 posts in various departments.
The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released the advertisement of Jharkhand General Graduate Qualification Combined Competitive Examination 2021. There will be recruitment on 956 posts out of which 384 posts will be of assistant branch officers, 322 of junior secretariat assistant, 245 of block supply officers and five posts of planning assistant.
As the JMM/Congress government plans to give preference to local candidates in this recruitment drive, candidates who have done their matriculation-10th and intermediate-12th from Jharkhand will be eligible to apply.
Also candidates who benefit from the reservation policy will be given relaxation. For this, online applications will start from 15 January 2022. Candidates will be able to submit applications till February 14.Candidates can do online through JSSC website www.jssc.nic.in. Here the examination fee will be paid till February 16, while the deadline has been fixed for taking the print out of the application by uploading the photograph and signature by 18. From February 19 to 21, in the online application, you will be able to rectify any mistake except name, date of birth, e-mail id and mobile number.
The cut-off date of August 1, 2021 has been kept for the appointment. The minimum age limit for applying is 21 years.
At the same time, the maximum age limit has been fixed at 35 for unreserved category, 37 for Backward-Extremely Backward, 38 for women and 40 years for Scheduled and Scheduled Tribe. 10 years relaxation in the maximum age will be given to the disabled candidates of all categories.
The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has revised the application fee for examination. Earlier, for this exam, the application fee was Rs 1000 for unreserved category, EWS and OBC category candidates and Rs 250 for SC-ST category candidates, which has been revised. The application fee has been revised to Rs100 for unreserved category, EWS and BC category candidates and Rs.50 for SC-ST category candidates.
Candidates applying for these posts have to take one regional language as optional. Recently, the state government has prepared the list of 12 regional languages which includes Urdu, Santhali, Bangla, Mundari, Ho, Khadia, Kurukh, Khortha, Nagpuri, Oriya, Panchpargania and Kurmali. Candidates have to opt for any one language.
