Saturday, 20 November 2021 | PNS | Ranchi/Bokaro

For the Sarna tribals, Luguburu Ghantabari Dhoromagarh in Lalapania has been a symbol of Santhali faith, glorious past, tradition, reverence and faith since centuries. Every year on the occasion of Kartik Purnima, the International Sarna Dharma Mahasammelan, organised here, attracts devotees not only from Jharkhand but also from abroad, who participate in special rituals. Due to the corona epidemic, the worship ritual was organised here with full care and vigilance. In the midst of this global pandemic, the members of the worship committees carried out the tradition that has been going on for years with utmost care. The government will fully cooperate in its protection,” said Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday.

On this occasion, the CM along with his wife Kalpana Soren and sons offered prayers in full ritualistic and traditional manner. On this occasion, he paid homage by garlanding the statue of Lord Birsa Munda installed here.

The CM said no one cared about the expectations of the people of Jharkhand in the last 20 years after the formation of a separate State. “Our Government is making an action plan keeping the aspirations and activities of all the sections and sections of the people here in priority and the work is being done to implement it on the ground, so that the people sitting in the last row of the society can also get the benefits of Government schemes,” he said.

Soren said on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda and State Foundation Day, ‘Aapke Adhikar, Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar’ programme has been started from November 15. Under this programme, the Government is coming to your doorstep to solve your problems by December 28 and to provide you with the benefits of the government’s schemes. Clear instructions have been given to all the officials that through the camps, people will get the benefit of the welfare schemes of the Government.

The CM said maximum employment generation is the top priority of the government. In this regard, this year has been declared as the year of appointment and the recruitment process is being started to give jobs to the youth on a large scale. In order to promote self-employment, the Government has also launched many other programmes, including the Chief Minister Employment Generation Scheme. By taking advantage of these schemes, people can provide employment to others along with their livelihood.

The Chief Minister said that due to poverty in the State, especially tribal women are forced to sell wine and liquor. He said the Phoolo Jhano Ashirwad Yojana has been started to connect such women with respectable livelihood. The Government will work to connect women who leave the work of selling liquor and alcohol with employment. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said the Universal Pension Scheme has been started by the Government. Under this, all people above 60 years of age except income tax payers are being linked to various pension schemes.

In Bokaro district, appointment letters were provided to 92 people in various government departments. At the same time, the work of completing the recruitment process of 189 people is in the final stage. On this occasion, the CM symbolically handed over appointment letters to some personnel.
